Clarity Care’s history dates back to 1972, when two mothers worried about who would care for their children with developmental disabilities when they no longer could.
After realizing their concerns were common among others, they brought together a group of parents and advocates from the community to form Residential Care for Developmentally Disabled (RCDD). RCDD provided residential support services to people with development disabilities.
In 2003, RCDD became Clarity Care. Clarity Care has since expanded its services to provide support to persons with development disabilities, those with chronic conditions and the elderly.
