Residential Group Home Coordinators

Clarity Care is seeking qualified individuals to work full time in our residential programs with adults that have Developmental Disabilities.

 

Residential Coordinators have the following responsibilities/duties:

  1. Monitoring/performing duties relating to the quality provision of care, support,   welfare, supervision and training of persons with developmental disabilities

  2. Management and maintenance of the physical settings of the homes and services in compliance with all operating, licensing and safety regulations and procedures
  3. Ensure that all activities of daily living and personal cares as indicated in support plans and as desired by the consumer are carried out in a respectful manner.  Responsible for completion of homecare and other domestic duties
  4. Ensure protection of the rights of the consumers.  Supervise and assist in and teach how to achieve hopes, dreams, goals and objectives through self-direction, decision-making and informed choice and goal setting
  5. Responsible to train, supervise and evaluate Support staff.  Participate in hiring, retention, discipline and termination processes
  6. Conduct staff meetings, keeping staff updated and informed on home, staff, agency, procedural and consumer support process issues
  7. Monitor/manage consumer finances, household and consumer bills, transportation expenses, medical and co-pays and other duties related to home operation

Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma, be at least 21 years of age, and possess a valid WI driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to meet agency driving standards.  The ability to pass periodic criminal background checks under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law is required. Previous experience (1-3 years) working with individuals with developmental disabilities and supervisory experience is required. Training classes are required and provided by Clarity Care. The classes are held Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00a-5:30p. All classes must be completed within your first 3 calendar months of hire.
