Community
We believe that living in the community is more than residing in a home.
We encourage our consumers to be involved in their community through
participation in local events and festivities. Alongside our consumers we
support local businesses and promote memberships in local
churches, the YMCA and service organizations.
Other activities available to our participants include vacation getaways
arranged through travel organizations. Many consumers take part in
Special Olympics, the Very Special Arts Choir and art classes. Clarity
Care consumers take an active role in planning their own social events,
which include fashion shows, dances and holiday parties.
Everyone benefits when people who have disabilities are
involved actively in their community.
